Comfort Care Home is a small, private residential care home — not a facility. With a maximum of three residents, your loved one lives in an actual home, not an institution. Caregivers know each resident personally — their routines, preferences, and history. The environment is quiet, consistent, and far more personal than any large facility can offer. There are no shift rotations where strangers cycle through; the same caregivers are there day after day.
We provide personal care services, which include assistance with all activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility), medication management, 24-hour supervision, and coordination with outside providers. Our caregiver is on-site at all times — actively present during the day and sleeping on-site overnight, with residents monitored via a camera and call light system throughout the night. We do not provide skilled nursing services or clinical care — those are coordinated through your loved one's existing physicians, home health agencies, or hospice providers, all of whom we work with closely.
The monthly rate is all-inclusive: a furnished private room with WiFi and TV/streaming, three home-cooked meals and snacks daily, all personal care assistance, medication management, housekeeping, laundry, linen service, and 24-hour caregiver supervision. We believe in transparent pricing — no hidden fees or surprise charges. Your specific rate will be discussed during your consultation based on the level of care needed.
We are a private-pay facility. We do not currently accept Medicare or Medicaid. However, many families use long-term care insurance, VA benefits, or private funds to cover the cost of care. We're happy to discuss options with you during your consultation and provide documentation to support insurance reimbursement claims where applicable.
Family involvement is one of the things we value most. Our standard visiting hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We ask that visits fall within that window so residents have consistent rest time and caregivers can maintain daily routines. That said, we understand that circumstances change — particularly during a resident's final days. During that time, we make every accommodation for family to be present whenever they need to be, without restriction. Please just reach out to us directly and we'll make it work.
We reassess care needs regularly and adjust our approach as circumstances evolve. If a resident's needs increase — whether that's additional ADL support, coordination with a new specialist, or transitioning to hospice care — we work to accommodate those changes within our scope. If needs exceed what we're able to safely provide, we will communicate openly and help facilitate a transition to the appropriate level of care.
Yes. We offer short-term respite stays for seniors whose primary family caregiver needs a break — whether that's for a vacation, a medical recovery, or simply some time to recharge. Respite guests receive the same all-inclusive care as our long-term residents: a furnished private room, home-cooked meals, personal care assistance, medication management, and 24-hour supervision. Minimum stay and availability vary, so please call or fill out the form below and we'll discuss what works for your situation.
